NUS

Ran back home last Friday to settle my stuffs, and cant find the 'feel' to write anything. Now i have nothing to do only i thinking to update my blog.

well, currently i still mingle mostly with malaysians as singaporeans not yet check in. so i still feeling like i'm in malaysia=.=" but i guess after the semester starts, everything will be totally different.

as for the hostel, it is quite small, but still consider ok. at least not double decker :P the table is spacious enough and still thinking how to decorate it.

as for the campus, the buildings are very nice, but some quite old too.

foods... hmm.. quite expensive if u do direct conversion, but actually consider quite cheap. the price is almsot the same as malaysia, but their economy rice is much more cheaper. $2+ for 1 meat plus 2 vege. other groceries the value is the same :)

so i guess nothing much to talk about anymore, wait till spend another few days here only i report it here again :P

p/s: every night also feeling hungry>< need to prepare some maggie cup... haha

Today Is The Day

16/7 is the day where i going over to Singapore for the first time.
16/7 is the day where i'll walk out from my front door and stay far away from home(for the first time too :P).
16/7 is the day where i'll start a brand new life.
16/7 is the day where i'll be thrown into a total unfamiliar place.
16/7 is the day where i've to face all the challenges with a strong heart which will determine my future.

Now is the time i shake off all the rust and pick up my sword and shield again to strive through the rough sea. Across the sea i will reach an island full with fruits of labour. And hope i'll meet with more true warriors to accompany me through the journey.

All set and ready to sail!! Wish all my friends best of luck and keep in touch :)

Comrades in Arms

Since I'll be leaving very soon to study in Singapore for another 4 years, I have to choose an accompany which can stand by my sides always, strives through the ups and downs with me, entertains me when I'm bored etc. So I set up my target to Dell laptops as they provide on site service which means I need not to send the laptop to their place to repair but they will come to me. Next I try to find a laptop which can cope with my mild gaming needs :P Hence, I only have few choices as those high end laptops are way out of my budget. My initial target was just getting a laptop equipped with Nvidia 8600GT M which still able to play games at acceptable settings.

When I waiting for better promotions from Dell.com, a gem stone dropped off from the sky, Dell Precision M6300. And so I bought it at an incredible dirt cheap price and yes, it is a 17" gaming laptop! I'll let the pics do the talks :)

Keyboards, too bad not back illuminated :(

Well, actually i bought it few weeks ago, but now only feeling to write about it :P I quite satisfy with its performance (so far), just that it is very hard to find a bag, screen protector for such huge laptop. It weights almost 4kg and its thickness is about 4cm=.= Guess I shouldn't call it a laptop, it is a workstation as it is not portable at all...
